Learning Objectives

Awareness of patterns and similarities in words is an important tool
for beginning readers. The exercises in our writing workshop are
designed to give children drill in printing the days of the week and
to help them notice that "day" appears at the end of each word.

Used sparingly, worksheets are a good way for kids to hone their
skills independently, in a classroom, or at home.
